Natural law and Phil Robertson

We live in a country run amuck in so called political correctness. Phil Robertson, the star of Duck Dynasty has been suspended from his show for comments he made in GQ magazine. In an interview with the magazine he stated his personal opinion and belief that homosexuality is a sin. Apparently we are no longer allowed to have personal opinions or values anymore. Beware if you do lest you be chastised by modern society.

In this crazy anything goes world homosexual behavior is seen as a civil right. In the traditional biblical upbringing that many of us had we learned of Sodom and Gomorrah and Gods judgement against this city of sin. Personally I will side with Phil Robertson, the bible and my own set of values instead of a misguided generation that I will continue to pray for.

Robertson compared homosexuality with beastiality and I’m not sure I would make that far a leap but I support his right to his own beliefs. I would however agree as I’m sure he would that we can recognize a part of the human anatomy as an exit and not an entrance. As for me I have to agree that I should stand up for Phil and his right to have values, his right to free speech and religious freedom.

About Commish Greg

I have had a life long love affair with the New York Yankees and baseball period. In my retirement I've discovered the hobby of sports game simulation through online gaming. I also have collected cards and memorabilia since I was 7 years old in 1961. I inherited from my uncle the collections starting from 1956 - 1960 and in 1961 I started my own collecting. I started an online league through Out Of The Park Development and their game OOTP16. The name of the league is the Alternate History Baseball League and it began in the 1954 baseball season when I and fifteen others held an inaugural draft and began the AHBL league in earnest. In my blog I will review the AHBL league and also mix some pop culture and historic events from real life. I hope you enjoy !
