The Senate are voting in direct defiance against the will of the people. Vote them out in November.
On Friday, Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky introduced a bill to place restrictions on US foreign aid. He had been pressuring the Senate to vote on the bill for months, finally promising to filibuster all legislation until it made it to the floor. The threat of his sending the week’s session into overtime finally prompted a vote, though the bill was rejected by a vote of 81 to 10.
