The liberal ideologues are out of ideas which have resulted in an angry, disgruntled minority that continues to hateAmericafirst. Whether we’re talking about people like Paul Krugman, Barrack Obama or even Bill Maher these people are out of touch and out of step with the American people. So all that is left for them is rage against the majority and hopeless rehashing of failed policy. Leaving them only their sarcastic wit to try vainly to prove some supposed facts. We will look at the liberal philosophy from three distinct pillars of their belief system, the economy, foreign affairs and social justice.
The above chart shows the Federal debt for the past 100 years or so.
First the economy which for the past 100 years has included income tax, the federal reserve and an ever expanding federal government as the machinery to manage and engineer American society. For the 125 years before that we didn’t need the things, but liberals convinced us differently in the last century.
The creation of the Federal Reserve System in 1913 as a privately owned company loosely regulated by the government has been a major way those liberals have fueled there programs. Yet ask a liberal who owns and controls the Fed and they probably won’t know it’s just a kind of blind faith almost religious faith in the federal government. Although it’s refreshing that liberals even have a sense of religious faith. The fact that the Fed is controlled by a handful of wealthy old money American families will not enter the conversation and neither will the fact that in nearly 100 years they have never been audited by the government.
An interesting fact is that in the past three years the Fed has issued 16 trillion dollars to the largest 12 banks. Now let’s follow the bouncing ball as a piece of paper equaling two trillion is transmitted to the banks. In turn the banks give a piece of paper to the federal government and purchase two trillion dollars in government bonds at 3% interest. That means that a debt of $60 billion dollars per year has been created by these paper transactions. The result of which is more money for the owners of the federal reserve, more government bonds issued by the government and a huge debt created to tax the citizenry and confiscate their wealth.
The IRS has been in business as well since 1913 and has been another outrageous example of government working under an unconstitutional mandate. The politicians and social engineers ofAmericahave discovered a great tool to pay for an ever expanding federal government to take care of us all. An IRS that began to go haywire under FDR with tax rates as high as 90%. Even though Kennedy would lower them to 70% and Reagan would lower further to 28% and since then they have risen again to 35%. We’re supposed to feel good that our tax rate isn’t 100% as the government continues to confiscate the wealth of their citizens to fund their social engineering. Spending that has grown out of control as government used the New Deal, the Square deal, The New Frontier and The Great Society to totally destroy our national budget and create a debt that may become impossible to ever pay back. A debt that will saddle our children and grandchildren, drive them into bankruptcy and possibly even to end our entire economic and political system in the process.
Inflation which became a part of American life since Nixon took us off the gold standard in 1971and our politicians sent our budget into hyper drive. Since the seventies our economy has been a series of booms, busts and bubbles all created because of an unstable socially engineered form of crony capitalism that threatens to destroyAmerica. A new welfare system came into being as lobbyists floodedWashingtonwith millions of dollars for politicians who could give away billions to corporateAmerica.
So the value of the dollar has plummeted since 1971from twenty two cents to two cents when compared to one dollar in 1913. The continued increase in taxes and the devaluing of the dollar has created an inflation bubble that is about to explode. The chart below shows the value of our currency versus the 1913 dollar over the subsequent years.
Secondly we can turn to foreign affairs as another great example of failed old worn out liberal policies that have strangled our nation. In the past 100 years we have been involved in World War I,World War II,Korea,Vietnam,Persian Gulf,IraqandAfghanistanas major wars.
The result of these wars are horrible in terms of human cost to be sure, but surely as bad in the loss of treasury for the vast majority of Americans. However as we see in the chart that follows the total losses in human life in World War I was more than all of the wars since World War II. The loss of life in World War II is four times that of World War I. Not to diminish the loss of lives in any war. What allows our government to get away with these long drawn out military affairs since World War II is the limited loss of lives comparatively. While the costs to wage the wars has increased geometrically and proportion because of the military industrial complex. Who put all of this into place? We don’t have to look any further than Presidents Wilson and Roosevelt as the architects and almost every other President since have followed a similar path to destruction trying to police the world.
Our entry into World War I was under the direct call to arms of liberalism‘s greatest hero Woodrow Wilson who was going to make America the great arsenal of democracy as he said. Conservative Republicans and Democrats voted against this war. So we fight in our First World War. In World War II we were led by FDR who is the biggest liberal icon in American history. FDR always was jockeying to get us into that War to the aide ofEngland. Conservatives opposed that war by enacting neutrality laws inAmericain the 1930’s. After World War II the whole nation began to embrace globalization with the advent of NATO, the IMF and the UN. The great hope ofWilsonfinally realized with FDR and his successor Truman gave us the United Nations. Since the end of World War IIAmericahas become the policeman of the world sanctioned often by the UN.
The Korean War was again under a liberal president Harry Truman who had to stop the spread of communism and with a small contingent of UN troops and overwhelmingly American force we had our third major war of the twentieth century. The Vietnam War was started by the great liberal icon Lyndon B Johnson. This time the war was embraced by both liberals and conservatives because many conservatives now began to be only conservative on social issues and became liberals on foreign entanglements. In other words we stopped minding our own business as a way of life we became the world’s policemen.
The wars of the Persian Gulf and the first President Bush andIraqandAfghanistanby the second President Bush who these neo conservatives who sounded like liberals when it came to foreign policy. Now the conservatives are coming back to their conservative roots and want to end this twenty year adventure in global policing and adventure.
Meanwhile liberals want us to expand toLibya,Syria, the whole Arab spring that is like having a tiger by the tail. Foreign affairs are just that, they are foreign and as such mostly none of our business. We must end this old liberal view of the world that we can be the arsenal of democracy and bring our troops back home from everywhere around the world includingGermany,Japan and Korea.
The third pillar of liberalism is Social Justice. The idea that only liberals care about people and that conservatives care only about the rich. At least that’s how liberals want everyone to think, that liberals are good and conservatives are bad. Well it’s not a case of good and bad it’s a case of right and wrong. Let’s talk about the social injustice of our American welfare state. A system of programs that has enslaved generations of poor mostly black Americans in a desperate and financially harmful form of indenture to the government. Now it’s the federal government who sits in the big plantation house and rules over their minion. Meanwhile generation after generation is left with nothing but poor housing, food stamps and hopelessness because our welfare system does nothing to lift people up it just keeps people down.
It’s a fact that liberals use the federal coffers to compel groups of citizens to become voting blocks for mostly Democrat and always liberal politicians. By creating little packages of government goodies for segmented groups the Democrats and liberals have managed to control pockets of support that have helped fuel this craziness. The welfare state of FDR and LBJ has delivered blacks to the Democrat party for 50 years at least.
The buying through legislation has delivered almost all public unions for the Democrats as well. And why not if you elect Democrats you get benefits, higher pay and programs that we tax payers can’t afford, but doesn’t cost the politicians anything because it’s just taxpayer money. Now in a new shameless display of capturing a group’s votes the liberals and their Democrat party are trying to take over the immigration debate in order to capture Latino votes. Understand it has absolutely nothing to do with what’s right or wrong just in segmenting another group to vote for Democrats.
Other great accomplishments of the liberals in social engineering are no prayer in school, abortion upon demand, and national takeover of education where our primary focus isn’t education but rather teacher pay and benefits, the environmental protection agency and a virtual alphabet soup of government programs and entities. Well folks now the bill has come due. We are now seeing the ripened fruit of liberalism in an economy that is disintegrating before our eyes. A society that is bankrupt of any moral compass in the name of equality. A subjugated minority that is enslaved in welfare from generation to generation helping to make them a permanent underclass.
We have discovered that liberalism has no new ideas and so now it is up to we the people to begin to deconstruct the massive liberal machinery that seeks to categorize, group and set one against another for there own warped sense right and wrong. The answer my friend as Bob Dylan once posed is blowing in the wind; the answer is blowing in the wind. The wind is blowing with the Tea Party, with traditional conservatism and with a look toward restoring liberty inAmerica.
